Post subject:  prop question..

Could I change props to help lift the rake of my boat out of water more?
When I run full throttle the nose of my boat starts to plow water,
I'm getting to much lift on my back end..
I moved all my weight to the back except fuel tank...
With my stock pd it ran perfect, but now the stage 2 is pushing harder lifting my rear?
I trim up to try to lift the nose out of the water but my prop blows out before lift....
would changing from my stock prop help? My last 4-600 rpms don't increase speed at all from any level of trim from prop under the water to blowing out speed doesn't change...is this a prop problem ?

These props breach the surface and we don't get the lifting that you get from outboards. What setup are you running?

A 16x44 gatortrax guide, 1 gun box , 1 dry box , extended deck (4')...
It runs on plain best at 3600 rpms at 26 mph...
More rpms up to 4200 the nose starts to plow at rake.
From 4200 to 4800 32 mph plowing water...
Plowing I mean my rake is catching water an spraying out sides of the front of my boat...
Before with my stock motor the water met my boat 3 to 4 feet from my rake approx half way at wide open an would only catch water at the rake when I took on waves...
I ruled out hooks in the bottom because it did good till I moded the motor now boat lays down all the way, still quicker an carry load better than before but still would like to get the nose up.
Running empty boat 1 battery in back, 9 gal tank in front, but runs the same with only a gallon in tank...
Tiller handle pd gen 2 36 stage 2, new pd prop approx 10 hrs on, still has all paint on it.

An it may not be a prop problem, but thought it could be a possibility to rule out.

Did the boat ever run as fast as it does now? It sure sounds like hooks to me.

No, gained a few...
So my existing prolly did not effect me as much with less power?
My few hooks are right in the rake from cypress knees, so if I can lift front of boat out of water should solve that...
The rest of the hull you can see is pretty flat but you can tell where my ribs are running, but nothing other than the start of the rake has actual dents/ hooks in it...
