 Need help on SD build prop problemHey I'm new on here but I need some help on my boat. I built a ad motor chain drive with a gx270 Honda. I have it done any mods to the engine other than set the governor. I have a 7x5 hill marine prop on it and I'm running 1.1 gear ratio. I know now after doing a lot of research I need to change ratio to 1.5.1 or 1.6.1. I don't know what prop to use for this new ratio.
The boat will plane out now but only run 10mph. It seem like this 7x5 prop is not pushing it seem to cavitat or something. Any help on this would be much appreciated You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |
