 PD Gen DIfference?
How can you tell when you buy a new PD that it has the Gen 4 gear ratio and not the 2:1?

 Re: PD Gen DIfference?
The gen 4 lower units have G4 ingraved at the top collar. The skeg is also different and the shaft is splinted with a prop nut like the gen 3. It's easy to tell anyway you look at it.
