 Re: GTR prop
Plenty of props have slung blades. They'll fix you up. Make sure nothing cracked on your lower as well

 Re: GTR prop
I had this exact thing happen to me about 4-5 weeks ago. I also do not believe I hit anything either at the time that I lost my prop blade. I simply emailed Hoyt some photos and he had a new 3 blade in the mail within a few days.

 Re: GTR prop
I was in 4ft of wide open water when mine broke. But so did the whole lower half of the motor. I think I've said in several different posts that Gator Tail told me they had a batch of bad props last spring. I think I would have known if I hit something hard enough to shear a blade at the hub. I would definitely have GT look over the lower again. I didn't even make it all the way up on plane and in that 20-30 feet it broke a prop, belt housing, and the lower.

 Re: GTR prop
I had a buddy of mine sling a blade this season while guiding a duck hunt. It was in deep water. Another guide buddy had a spare prop in his boat and were able to change it on the water. I was surprised they were able to o this on the water because it took an impact driver to get mine off. His was brand new though and mine had been on for 3 years.
