Hey guys just wondering if any of you have taken your worn down prpos in ever to have them rebuilt back to like new? Also is that even a good idea considering the environment our props live is ie. Hard hits stump rocks and such. |

Lots of people do it, it's less than half the price of a new prop, and makes a good spare prop, or whatever type of prop you want. A good prop shop can make you a speed prop, or a good load carrying prop. It all comes down to what you want. If there is no one near you that does it, and you want to try rebuilding your prop, send it down south to baggy's in Houma, or get with Laprop on here. Either one will fix you up. |

Dont need to change prop ive just got over a half inch worn off my old prop & its losing its ability ro run on the surface so I got a new one. Presto works on surface again. Ive had a prop redone on my deep v 17 worked great. I just wondered since our mud props always seem to run into somthing if a re weld/rebuild would take the impacts once in a while. |
