Was told today not to run the old two blade prop on the new gator tails. Was told that they have had broken out drives from running them. They will void the warranty if run on the new style out drive I was told . Has anyone had or heard of broken out drives using the old two blade props . |

Magnuson-Moss act...google that shit. Basically unless they provide wear items for free, they can't force you to do it the way they want you to. Now if they could prove the prop was out of balance and led to the failure, thats another thing, but they'll be opening themselves up to a lawsuit if they just try to outright tell you what prop you can or can't run on their outdrive. Thats the way i understand it anyway. They could force you to sue them though, and honestly wouldn't surprise me if thats the way it was handled, until you voiced your opinion on an open forum somewhere. |

They had a bad batch from Powertech that was slinging blades off. Well when the blade slung off, the vibrations would crack the lower. As far as running one, that's my go to prop on motor. Ain't had any problems with it, but then again, I haven't had a blade come off |

My buddy slung a blade off his 35 efi using the factory 3 blade. Luckily another buddy was in the marsh and had a spare prop. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

If he would have had to go any distance it would have been bad. My buddy that helped him out actually heard it happen a few hundred yards away before he saw Dave fighting the motor with only 2 blades. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |
