Post subject:  Which prop should I get?

My boat is going in to delta performance in a few weeks to get a stage 2 kit put on. I'm getting a worked prop while it's being done, but can't make up my mind if I wanna run a big 2 blade or a worked 3 blade??

I'm imagining the 3 blade is probably gonna get up faster and hold speed better vs the big 2 blade being better in the mud and veggies. My question is how bad is the 3 blade in the vegetation and mud? Is it that big of a difference?

Normally I'd just stay with the big 2 since I've heard they are better in the vegetation and the lake I fish has tons of vegetation but my boat is SLOW to the max. It's an 18x54 pro drive hull and completely unloaded I can run about 25-26 max in the shallows. If I put any load at all in the boat I'm down to 23mph or less. This is the reason I'm having the work done.

Gen 4 PD 37 efi.

We actually went out this morning. I had my dad and one friend. They are both big boys at about 350 each and the most we could get out of the boat was 15mph. It does fine solo unloaded but u put any load at all in there and it's terrible.

You should wait to see what the mods get you on the prop you are currently running. Then, come to us with results and you will get a better answer.
