After trolling on this fourm and scouring the DIY sections i decided to build a surface drive with parts and pieces. First I found a 27" Mud Buddy lower, picked up a Predator 670 motor new, and crashed McMaster & Car. So... after fabricating a housing for the MB lower and started fabricating a transom mount, the last piece I need is a prop. Specs are as followed: Predator 670 Upper gear - 36 tooth 101.6mm Lower Gear - 45 tooth 124.46mm Gates 8m-1440-20 gt timing belt MB 27" lower What prop would optimize the gears and motor combo. Boat is a Xpress 1650 with foam still in it. (will be removed after this duck season) Thanks for all the information. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |

crap, i'm out of the loop... NOT trolling: "make a deliberately offensive or provocative online posting with the aim of upsetting someone or eliciting an angry response from them." I meant "cruising". or does that mean something else also? Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk |
