New GTR lower grease/trans oil question
I've done some searching and haven't been able to find any answers on the newer GTR's vs the older models and maintenance steps.
I've got a brand new model with the 37 EFI and electric reverse. I haven't taken the cover off, but I would assume I have to change the oil in the transmission just like the older models? I've found the GT videos on youtube but they are all for the older 35's so just wanted to make sure everything was the same.
Also, Hoyt says in the video that their are two grease points on the lower unit. One towards the prop end and another towards the front end by the belt. My GTR has the grease zerk by the prop, but has two plugs towards the front closer to the belt. Should their just be only one on the newer builds?

Re: New GTR lower grease/trans oil question
I just got a response from GT on the above questions.
1st the transmission, we now use synthetic automatic transmission fluid, filled the same way. 2nd the lower unit you have, you only grease the one in the back near the prop.

I used the zirk from the one in the back near the prop up at the front and flushed that one too. Just swapped it with the plug.
