How big of a prop can I run on a backwater 35? I currently have a 9x8. I can't seem to find any info as backwater only lists the 9x8 as the biggest. I seem to have enough rpms to go bigger. |

What are your rpms? Are those rpms loaded or unloaded? |

Tiny tack bounces in between 4300-4400. It's not floating the valves lol... that's all unloaded. I looked on their website and didn't see that big prop. Do you think there will be any advantage? |

Not apples to apples. Just to give you some kind of comparison, I had the 10x6 on a 31hp godevil long tail, it would run 20mph @3600rpm light hull. With me, my wife and little boy, and fishing load (48q ice chest, small tackle box and 2 fishing poles) best I could get was 13mph. I would prolly try a 10x4, or run light loaded and with a full load and see where your speeds and rpms are with your existing prop, and go from there! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk |

I see hill racing makes a 9x9, would that be better? |
