Post subject:  Source for Replacement Belt- Go Devil
Is there an aftermarket source for a drive belt? Need one for a 35 SDHT Go-Devil. Would be nice to be able to go to the local auto parts store and get a belt instead of ordering one from the dealer or direct from Go-Devil.

How many belts have you had to replace that ordering one has become an actual inconvenience?

Russ, just the one. But the local dealer is incompetent and can't/won't get me the belt.

Go Devil wants $95 for the belt (no biggie) but then its another $25 for shipping! Really, $25 to ship something that will fit in a medium flat rate box. Ridiculous. So yeah, I'm looking for an aftermarket source.

I found the Belt Source info online, who has the belt for less and then they aren't charging $25 for shipping either. So asking this question has saved me nearly $40. Well worth it.

This is a long shot....depends on where you live. Those belts are what drives screw conveyors at grain elevators and chemical plants. If you're anywhere near those, find an industrial supply and they should be able to find them.

i'm lucky i have a nephew who works for gates corp. and got me a new one for only $13. Now i have a spare to carry :P
