I have a go devil 31hp long tail it came with a 10 x 6 which wasn't to bad I talked to go-devil and they talk me into a 10 x 4 which has a lot of torque but no top end. I live and hunt in Montana so there's really no mud just shallow rivers was wondering what a 3 blade would do for me and also see backwater suggest a 9 x 8 prop for this motor.

Boat is a nova 1654 with 18" hunt deck and 20" motor mount

I would try what backwater suggests for the motor if you want speed. Their props are a little faster too. Not sure there is a 3 blade option for a longtail any more. Godevil used to have one but that was years ago
