Post subject:  Prop for GTRXD 37 EFI with Delta Lvl 3.5 on TCB 18X56
What prop would you guys recommend on a 18X56 Timber Creek with 24'' sides? Motor is a GTR XD 37EFI with Delta Lvl 3.5 mods. Running stock GTR 3 blade prop now. Not trying to break any speed records, just want to get out the hole good and have a prop best suited for the motor. Thanks

A worked (for holeshot and load) big blade or hammer if you can mount them to the xd lower. Everyone keeps changing shit so you are inclined to buy their prop, so I dunno.

I have the worked mercury 3 blade from delta, but I'm not real impressed with the hole shot.

Ran one of those at caddo from another boat. Holeshot was as you described, top speed 1mph better. My worked big blade is great out of the hole, and totes a load very well.

Got a buddy with a 1854 GT CC with a 3.5 XD running a worked merc 3 blade from Delta. Not sure on what pitch though.

I don't mind the Mercury 3 blade, hole shot is just crummy. I'd like to stick with a 3 blade, but not sure what better option is out there.

Do you have the old PT 3-blade or the new PT 3-blade that GT is using now? Apparently the new one is leaps and bounds better than any they've put on before.

I just got rid of the old 10p 3 blade and will have their 11p 3 blade soon.

Is there a newer 3 blade from GT in the past two years?

Yes there is a newer 3-blade that they're offering now. Looks very similar to the one they've been using but it's been tweaked.

I'd like to try it, but the initial cost plus the cost to have it balanced and worked is too high right now. I can't be having 3 props laying around.
