I've got an older 23hp gd longtail with a 9x6 prop that is worn down to about 7 1/2.

Obviously I need to get a new prop. How much do you think I'm losing on mph at the moment? Prop is eaten up on the edges too. Lots of burrs, real sharp. I actually cut the stew out of my toe when I stubbed it walking around in the water this morning.

Runs about 18 with me in my boat currently. Its a 1442 alweld flat.

Also, any suggestion on what brand I should get? Looks like its going to come down to me putting up the money for a new GD prop which is pretty expensive. I've seen backwater has a similar prop with a much more attractive price tag.

What yall think?
