I have a 27hp prodrive gen 2 with original 3 blade prop. I bought it used guy told me it was the original prop. I have searched everywhere and can't find out how to Measure prop to see if it's worn and if anyone knows what size it started as. It's a stock motor and I get about 18mph with two guys. 1651 Phowler extreme boat Thanks |

Center of hub to end of one blade. That's the radius. Double that. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

It is not the diameter that matters.... As a three blade wears the blades wear most in width.... PD liked the GD 3 blade which was 3 1/2" wide across the blade when new still ran well at 3 1/4" but was worn out at 3" and useless for loads or speed... I wear out a 3 blade by 50-70 hours FYI |
