| Post subject: | Gen II Prodrive Rattling sound from lower unit on plane |
Im fairly new to the MM scene. Had my '13 PD 36 Gen II for a few months and put about 100 Hrs on it give or take. Ive noticed that when im on plane and scooting along that I get an intermittent rattling sound for about 3 secs at a time ever so often coming from what im assuming is my lower unit (with auto reverse). its loud enough for me to hear it over the motor. It runs like a dream with no complaints and showing no signs of anything out of place or broken and its something that ive just written off as normal. Ive done a full service on it with the recommended grease with no change. Any suggestions or is this normal? |
