smoked 2 switches, the clutch is drawing more then 10 amps. it still runs, but the switch doesn't last more then a sec. if i bypass it it does fine.

you talkin bout the pto switch? The red one? If your burnin em up like that, you have a short somewhere. Check all your wiring for a pinch or cut. Thats not normal.

u prolly either got a short in ur wiring somewhere or in the armatuer of ur clutch.

u said if you bypass da switch da clutch works... is that when ur wiring is gettin hot? If so, that's not classified as working. lol

That circuit ain't real complicated and should be easy to troubleshoot, but we need a lil more info.

Worst case scenario you have to replace ur clutch, which takes less than an hr. with the proper tools and a hoist to lift the top side. 4 bolts to remove da top side, then 4 more bolts to remove da spline adapter from da clutch, then 1 more bolt holds the clutch on. When you remove ur clutch the last thing that comes off is a bushing/spacer..... pay close attention to which way that thing is oriented and re-install the same way. If for some reason u get it confused.... the beveled end goes towards da engine.

check under the engine where the wires go into the clutch assembly.
thats where mine got cut and fried the wiring harness and the magnetic clutch.
