hey y'all Ive got a prop question Im hoping someone here can help with. 2017 I bought a new Gen 4 Prodrive with 37hp efi and full throttle reverse. Love the set up but ive got a pretty heavy boat so I had a shop about 4 hrs from me install a "13" hp kit so now i supposedly have a 50hp motor. Still a little slow getting up on plane but once it does it moves right a long. I want to swap the stock prop to a hammer prop but Ive heard the only way to do that is to take the bearings and gears off my Gen 4 prop shaft and press them onto a Gen 3 prop shaft. Does anyone know who I can contact to get the correct work done or is there a Hammer prop that will fit the Gen 4 Prodrive yet?

What was included in a 13hp kit? It would also be cheaper and probably easier just to send a new prop to a prop shop and have them rebuild it for your needs.

Baggy in Houma can make the correct adjustments to your props that you need for your proper applications. Also, what size hull are you running?

The 13hp kit included heads, cam, intake, and"custom tuning". I'm running a 2010 G3 1756. Custom built aluminum blind from front to back along with Custom built pods on the back by marshmonster (thorn metalworks). Also is a console set up which i put the console 3/4 way up front.I carry 4 dozen duck decoys and 8 goose decoys, 1 car battery, 1 6 gallon gas tank, 1guy at 200 lbs, 1 guy at 180lbs and 1 at 250 lbs and my 65 lbs lab. With all that the boat gets on plane...the boats a rocket across the water. If i swap the 250 guy for someone around 280lbs i cant het the boat up on plane no matter what i do

Move to a true mud hill style boat and I bet your performance increases dramatically.

Agreed that your hull is not helping things, exspecially when you say "pods". I have fought Prodrive's for a while when it comes to getting bite out of the hole. If someone does have a hammer or bblade on one I would love to hear about it. Our best results so far are with a prop a customer had Hopkins build for him. I will take a pic and add it.
