I searched but couldn't find anything exactly like my situation. A couple weeks ago, I noticed that while purging the grease in my lower unit, water came out and the grease that first came out was discolored. I took my rear housing off and saw that my rear bearing and seals were bad. I called gatortail and ordered a new housing. I installed it and after taking it out a couple times, starting noticing a little grease coming out the rear of the housing in between the prop and rear housing. I took the housing off and the grease was still good along with the bearing. This happens almost every time I've used it. The wear ring was also changed when I changed the rear housing. Do I need to replace the rear seals again?
