Post Reverse Clutch/Brake Replacement Gatortail
Running down the river the other day and heard a terrible noise. Long story short, my gatortail is stuck in reverse. The prongs on the rear clutch are all broken and I found metal shavings in the cover. What should I look for when pulling the clutch as far as damage is concerned? Any help would be great.

Model is 2016 electric reverse 37

Sounds like you can already see the issue. Remove the rear clutch and inspect it. Also check trans fluid for excessive metal while u are in there. Put eyes on front clutch also. Hopefully problem is only in rear clutch, this would keep the job not to hard

10-4. I'm guessing the only way to inspect the trans fluid is through the bleeder on the drum. I planned on changing it out while I'm in there anyways.

I'm hoping the front is still good as it engages and shuts the engine down when I flip the switch.
