Mud Buddy Surface Drive lower unit rebuild
Replacing all bearings and seals on Mud Buddy Sport HD lower unit. I'm ready to replace the shaft and bearings now and was wondering if there is a particular sequence I should follow putting it all back together? Also assume I use a brass punch to gently tap gearing into casing? I used an old dowel rod to punch the old bearings out and it worked well.
First mud motor so all this is uncharted waters for me., amy help will be greatly appreciated.

BPS actually has a nice internal view on their website of how the sequence is supposed to look Or they did...

Re: Mud Buddy Surface Drive lower unit rebuild
I couldn't find anything on BPS website at all, think that may have ended several years back. Thanks for your reply.
However, I put the lower unit together this morning without any problems. Started with the gear end, inserting one set of learning and then did the same with prop end. Then inserted the drive shaft into place and repeated the process with remaining bearing and seals. I would say it's easier than putting new bearing /races in boat trailer.
