I was told to use the 238 when I bought my motor. Not sure if anything is better, but I stuck with it since it’s what they told me to use at the time I got the engine |

When I got my GTR35 a few years back , it shipped with Amsoil Marine and was told at the time using anything else would void the warranty. I know GTR changed from Amsoil, but not sure why (maybe they have an agreement with Amsoil that ended?) I still use Amsoil and all is well |

my biggest issue is I cant buy the stuff up here... Looking for alternatives before I start to import a few. I used some great synthetic stuff up here with great results - little cooler up here at times... |

It don't fucking matter as long as you shoot something in it from time to time to clean out the old and gunk. You think these cave man technology machines are that picky? Haha |

Will nailed it. The bearings they use arent special aerospace life or death clearances must be perfect bearings. If warranty is your concern, you know the answer. If you want them to last, use a quality marine grease and maintain it and itll be fine. #CFFITR #GhostBoat #Whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |
