Post Just tested 4 Different Props
I have a Center Console 2019 EFI PD 40 with a gen 4 lower with a hex shaft. I have been trying to get a prop dialed in. My PD has Heads, .308 Cam and tune from Nick Peltier and A SW exhaust.

I have 4 props I have been working with, a Hammer Prop worked by Baggy, Chris Courville Reaper Prop, Boat Dr.s Prop worked by Chris Courville (standard wasn’t enough hit rev on take off and top end), and a Mercury 3 Blade worked by Baggy but bought directory from Prodigy at a 12 Pitch (11 Pich wasn’t enough hit rev limiter on take off and top end).

In order of Performance and my preference-Test was done in light chop Deep water regular load- CC, Gun Box full tool box, chain saw oil etc, Front hatch with filled with Fast grass, life vests Etc, Salt Water Trolling Motor, 2 Deep cycle Batteries, 10 Gallons of fuel, Yeti Box full of Fishing supplies and small tools, Fish Deck, Tackle Box, 80lb Lab and Me at 190. My standard Fishing load.

Hammer- was the strongest prop for take off and low end. This is a strong prop that literally jumps the boat out of the water and pulls strong to 29-30 at 4750. Down Current and into the current really not much a of difference at be .5 mph This will be my hunting prop for sure.

Reaper- This was good all around prop. Pulled strong, not like the Hamner, but jumped her up and then pulled strong in the midrange and ran 31.5-32.9 at about 4750-4800 RPM.

Boat Dr.- I think this prop has promise, but the low end was similar to Reaper, maybe a touch softer, but the top end was the same but at the Rev Limiter 5,000. It’s a bigger prop by a full 1/2 inch. I think this may need a little more work- TBD

Mercury 3 Blade- Not for me. Low end was terrible and the top end was 31.5 at 4850. Not a good combination. I may talk to Baggy about this prop and see what he says when he gets back up and running, because again, while he worked it, it was worked for MB not a PD. This was the prop that I thought would be my fishing prop,

Reaper is on the boat for the off season and Ill save the Hammer for hunting season.

Ran the Reaper prop today while fishing. Really impressed with this prop. Low end is stout- not quite the Hammer but close. However, it’s a solid 2-3 MPH faster on the top end. Ran 32-33 all day today at 4700. Same load as above.

Those are pretty - but you could loose 2 mph in 2 minutes in the mud...

But what about after they run mud for 3 to 4 hours...

That is when you should really test them - IMO
