 SETX GDSD repair needed I’m new to the mud boat scene and need some lower unit work done on a 2014 35hp GDSD. Who’s the go to guy out there?

Re: SETX GDSD repair needed Probably a few guys out there who will do it on the side but I do know heritage marine in Beaumont and northshore marine in NE Houston are options. It’s a bit of a drive but I’ve drove to Godevils shop in Baton Rouge and had them swap out shaft, gears and all the seals in a day, had it there at 10 and they were done at 4 and I was back in business.

Re: SETX GDSD repair needed If I take this thing to Heritage what should I expect to pay? I know the sprocket bearing is the immediate issue and I assume I might as well replace all the seals.

You might need a new shaft if no maintenance has ever been done
as the rear seals can cut into the shaft if it has been poorly greased
and maintained....
It can be 200 to 300 if there is bad news on all counts....
Just depends on what they see inside there on seals bearings U-joints etc....
If Jerimiah is still there he knows his stuff !
