There's lots of fun places to ride up there. I can show you a bunch. More vegetation than mud but it's all fun if you're seeing new stuff.

maybe we could all bring chainsaws and cut out some of the bayous running into the corps land between the rivers......years ago hunting with my uncle, we could get way back in there, now you can hardly get into it.....lol

yea, the blackwater ponds we used to hunt always put mallards on the stringer.....cant get anywhere near those ponds today......and no you cannot walk in because you will fall in a hole and be swallowed by the quicksand like mud...already tried and failed miserably...now the only ponds you can reach anybody can reach......what do you the the corps would do to us if we were caught cutting shit up in there?

maybe a few that are in the know can get a corp campsite on the river and camp out and work for a weekend....hunt in the morning, drink and run the chainsaws afterwards? just a thought......

we could leave the entrances rough so that will keep most people out......it would be greenhead heaven to get back in there again!!!!

That'd be great. My rig won't be done till the middle of January. Bought it just for dam b because I'm tired of going slow. Ha. My long tail will do till then. I'm down to camp and do that. And if the weather is nasty enough, we can make an afternoon hunt on the south end and kill some cans. Or instead if camping, we can stay at my lake cabin instead. (Half mile from the bar pit). Satellite tv, comfy beds, and warm water!

I road through a bunch of the sloughs the other day. Most of the logs have been cut. They're just laying there though. I'm up for a ride anytime.

Ya, it was my first ride in a Borel and she did me dirty. If i remember correctly, there was a proposal, and i drank more of the champagne than the engaged couple did  Fed the sea gulls that afternoon too with my already eaten lunch..
