I installed mine 2 nights ago and my bolts were to short to run the spacer so I didn't run it. Is it necessary?

You don't have to use the "spacer". That is an isolator the factory uses to cut the heat transfer from the block to the factory carburetor so when it's hot and you turn it off, the carb will not get hot and boil the gas causing restarting issues.

You can use those regular gaskets but I've had the gasket suck in twice and went to the RTV and never looked back... Permatex Ultra Grey.

Chad and I went and rode some yesterday. Water has come back up a bit and we have some good trails to ride.
THE LANDING AT BIG JIM'S IS CLOSED AS THEY PUT IN NEW RAMPS. My suggestion is to use Knights Landing a couple of miles up the creek. I'm attaching a google earth picture of how to get there with the address for you to put in your own GPS if you like. When you put in at this landing, you will drive straight out to the main creek channel (it's very well marked) and turn right/south. Follow that creek channel until you see a marker that has a sign for Big Jim's oyster bar and you will turn right and follow that channel into big Jim's. We will start meeting at big Jim's at 9AM. We will have announcements at 9:45 and start the poker run from big Jim's promptly at 10AM. Anybody having any trouble can call or text me at 229-220-five five zero nine.
There will be a lot of people down there Friday night. Anybody that wants to can meet up for dinner at big Jim's Friday night around 7:30.

That would be a good idea, especially in the cat tails. That's how one boat got ran over last year, couldn't see it until it was too late. I'd almost say make it a requirement if it weren't so close. Highly suggest it for next year...

If you can bring a fan bring it. Bigger the better. I'll have a generator that can run them.

We can set them up around the tent to keep the Gnats and heat away during the raffle.

Anybody wanting to sit during the raffle should bring a camp chair as well

Never ran a flag. Never seem one on a boat. If I mount one on my head deck will 6-8 ft be enough? Thinkin about getting a peice of small Dia conduit to fit in my seat post mount

Airboat flags are usually 12ft+- off the water.

I'll probably just get one from Airboats Unlimited in Bainbridge.

Bicycle safety flag would work too. They're around $18.

I just made one out of a UGA window flag and a cane pole. Gonna jam it down in my spud pole holder.

Yea I think I got a bream buster with a broken tip that can be rigged up. I can put sheps leopard print thong on it for a flag. Actually more like a sail!

Ill rig something up. I think it's a smart idea with this many boats out. I'll be flying an Ingram Barge Company tow knee flag
