 Re: Sunday Ride Plans
That skiff with the 3 guys and the PD I made 3 years ago. That was originally for my brother, but like me.... He sells everything.

 Re: Sunday Ride Plans
yea i got a great demo. stopping on top of dry mud (crust covered) with grass growing out of it and getting out of it really impressed me. but then again, I never saw a rig on sunday that didn't impress me in one way or another. I realized i've been "playing" with a toy while others were running some serious rigs. hell, i was skeptical of coonass' advertised 30 mph rig until i saw it run. I honestly thought our longtails would have faired better than the surface drives in the mud. I spent a good bit of time watching rigs while paying attention to the little details. The only thing i wasn't able to see were mud buddies and go devil sd's. I saw gator tails on miscellaneous boats have trouble (but still better than what i thought), and gator tails on gator tail boats do well. I'm pretty sure i saw a pro drive on a skiff stuck in the same place that our 27 gdlt got stuck as we were leaving that pond.
i run in too much "big" water to own a skiff. Aren't skiffs less desirable in open water.
later, mm (still has questions that need answers before buying the perfect rig)
