Well guys we had a good time today sorry about the mud issues when we posted the ride the water level was at 4.4 falling and 7 days later started rising again it's now around 7 feet but the next time around we will have mud even if it has to be put on in the lake. But still good times.

Ok, I'm back home now. Thanks to Chris and Ronnie Theriot for the hospitality. Fine group of fellows. It was a very exciting day. Ill try to relay the event which caused me to take a dip in the Atcafalaya River today. I can barely read what I'm typing because I lost my glasses so excuse me if I don't catch the typos.

As most of you know my boat has has shap bow. Every crawfisherman knows about diver boats. Well, mine is one. This was not the first time my boat and I have disagreed on which direction we were going. I caught a wave and my boat sliced to the left very abruptly and I went straight head first into the river. I hit the muddy bottom which was not far as we were in a shallow lake just off the river. As I was coming up my head hit the bottom of the boat that was behind me. He had seen my tumble and immediately killed his engine and raised his prop. When I came up I saw Gator Tail scroll across my face inches away. I Just knew at that moment the prop would be racing my face next so I pushed off the boat and turned away fully expecting the prop would hit me. Fortunately none of that happend. As soon as I could I popped my head up and felt my skull fully expecting blood on my hands. No blood, just a knot on my head. Thanks to my new best friend who was behind me and his quick actions I am just fine. I'm getting a new boat Monday. Aluminum. Fuck this skiff.

I'm glad to hear u are going to get rid of that death trap. U should upgrade to a 35 while u are at it.
