I will be having a fun ride/fish fry on May 21 2011. Food and refreshments will be provided. Frying up crappie fillets, fries, hushpuppies and anything esle we can come up with. We are looking into a small band til 12pm. It will be in Trinity TX 75862 at Outback Campground and Marina on Lake Livingston. They have lodging, camper and tent sites available http://www.outbackcampground.com/ their phone number is (936) 594-3961 call and reserve your spot and mention the Abell fish fry. Call to get a good spot. Trinity is the closest city witha hotel (10mi) Lake Country Inn http://www.trinitychamber.org/lakecountryinn.html (936)594-3626. I thought about it, didn't want to mess w/memorial day yahoos though. Plus this weekend I believe we will have the whole place to ourselves. As of right now we are the only ones staying there. |

From Interstate 45, Houston, TX... Take Exit #113, Hwy 19 North to Trinity. Turn right on Hwy 94 then turn right on FM 356. Go Southeast 4.5 miles on FM 356 to Marina Road. Turn at Outback Campground and Marina sign. Drive one more mile and you are at Outback! From Interstate 45, Dallas, TX... Take Exit #116 onto I-45 Frontage Rd. Turn left on TX-30E/US 190E. Turn left at TX-30E/US 190E. Turn left at Riverside Drive/TX-30E. Turn left on Hwy 19 North to Trinity. Turn right on Hwy 94 then turn right on FM 356. Go Southeast 4.5 miles on FM 356 to Marina Road. Turn at Outback Campground and Marina sign. Drive one more mile and you are at Outback! From US 59, Livingston, TX... Take US 190 West to Onalaska, then North on Hwy 356 towards Trinity. Drive approximately 16 miles on FM 356 to Outback Campground and Marina sign. Turn left on Marina Road.
