Who's In? Berwick Landing I know of 3 boats from Alabama, and 3 from here as of right now. 2 extras pending...... Let me know how many people, because I plan to bring a pit, and find a place to BBQ. Planning to be at landing around 10 or so. |

Just gettin home. Mud was good. we went a little different route than last weekend. I got it on the gps but jasons boat aint gonna make some of it due to the t top. After yall left last weekend (jason and Terry) we went to a spot where we jumped through a levee. There was alot of area to ride but I just dont know if Jasons boat will fit. If not, I got the alternate route on the gps. Garret led us to some bad ass ponds. Hopefully he will come tomorrow. That dude should be another spokesperson for Gator Tail. All in all, it was a hell of a day. If anyone is wanting to bbq or anything, the sandbars are huge anywhere ya go. |

My boat aint fast, 28.5 empty, and 27.2 wit me and the wife and an ice chest today, but that thing goes where ya point it. And backs up like nobodys buisness with that reverse plate. Wow, that thing still amazes me. |

Well, I think all in all it was a good turn out. Couple Cliff Notes: When it takes 7 boats to pull you off, you are parked not stuck. Tenpoint Bruised Garrets azz... BJ's motor is NOT stock Craigs motor is NOT normal. Alabama Boys Now know what mud runs in Louisiana are about. I think I have a heat stroke. I can not drink enough fluids. I can put a big thing through a small place. Craig is scared of wildlife and fisheries that have ambulance sirens. ***. Feel free to add |

Man yall had a hell of a crew at the landing today. I pulled in just as yall was leaving. I wanted to go bad but wife and kids didnt have a way to get home. I was going to go say hello but just after I finished strapping to trailer yall pulled out. |

Wow!!! I had a blast. I had no idea what to expect, but I was impressed. I never thought the surface drives could have ran through that type of mud. It was good to see some of your machines working, and i learned a ton. The Mobile mud has obvisously skewed my sense of success with my 25gdlt (basically the same rig as the 27 gdlt that we brought). There's no way I could have ran that mud with the same ease as I run in some of the ponds/bays in Mobile (and we learned that at the 1st spot  ). It was good to meet all the great people from the board and a special thanks to the guys that let me ride in their boats.Now I just gotta sell my rig and start pimping some hoes so i can afford to buy a real duck boat. later, mm (i.e. Craig) |

i was the boat rider, truck driver, and the one wanting to upgrade my rig. J - I was neither Alabama 1 nor 2. My rig was left at home in hopes of helping the other 2 make the drive. The owner of teh 27gdlt got about 1 hour of sleep on the ride over and was out riding 4 wheelers the night before. The owner of the 31 gdlt got about 2 hours of sleep the night before due to work. My rig is essentially the same as the 27 gdlt. 10pt - It was me that shook your hand on the way in. Good to meet you. My plan was to see some of uncle J's boats running, but i only saw the uncle J skiff you were running, the uncle J turtle, and miscellaneous other boats (gator trax, lake and bay, gator tail, go devil surface drive, etc). Regardless, I've learned that you can't put a good motor with a good boat and make a great rig. The boat and motor have to compliment each other. I watched good motors perform better on some boats than the "same" motors on other boats. I know one thing is for certain. I need an upgrade. I just want to be an informed consumer before i drop the coin. |
