A few of us Longtail guys will be launching at Magnolia Ridge Park boat ramp at about 9am Saturday morning to do some riding at Dam-B and up into the river. We plan to eat lunch somewhere out on the water, and ride till.... We're done

Just wanting to invite everyone who may want to come check this place out and do a little riding. There's a chance of rain but it's looking like it will happen later in the day/evening, no worries. If you plan on coming, post up here so we can get a head count for lunch.

Yeah, everyone keeps talking about how we need to do another bigger ride at Dam B but nobody ever does I'm up there a good bit. I go in the evenings after work fairly often.

Rain chances have been reduced to basically nothing, shaping up to be a nice day Saturday.

I'd like to do one maybe sometime before teal season this year. I'll see what dates look like for everyone this summer and try to set everything up. When I stay up there I like to go to Sandy Creek way down on the south end. Usually fewer people down there too, it's not too far of a run from any of the parks. The whole place isn't that big. I've made the run from the dam up to the Hwy 63 bridge more than once even in my Longtail... It's about a 7-8 beer ride but on a nice day it's not bad

Do they have cabins close by to this? If so, anyone interested in splitting a bill for Friday or Saturday night?

It's at normal pool right now, maybe even slightly above.

J- they have a series of shelters at the same park were launching at, within walking distance actually. I think one or two of them are Enclosed and climate controlled. There's about 15 or so screened in shelters with electricity and water. I've stayed there several times.

Call the number on that page and ask about the Walnut Ridge Unit. That's where most of the shelters are however, there's shelters in several of the units on the lake. Cabins are pretty cheap if I recall correctly. I've stayed in a camper the past year or so that I've gone and actually stayed. I do enjoy the screened shelters when the weather is nice, tomorrow night would actually be a nice night to stay.

Looks to be about 80% normal pool but there's plenty of water in the woods etc....

Would love to make this. Been wanting to make a ride over there on yalls pond. I am hung up working thru the weekend to end of next week in W TX. Gotta get my shit done to go down and show em how the old folks roll in SETX in a couple weeks.

Yeah, we definitely need to make a big ride happen this year out on Dam B. We've got the SETX ride, Mud boats $ Mud Bugs, Caddo, what else as far as bigger rides? I guess we can start looking for a date after those? I wouldn't mind it being like the weekend after teal season even. Should still be plenty warm the end of September.

August is almost always slow for rides. I'm gonna make Colliin give me some sweet air if we come. AC is a fat mans friend in August!!!

Should have made the ride up dude. Had a really good time. Lots of open water even in the woods right now since its been sprayed. Cruised through some places today that you normally can't see across lol.

We weren't without incident completely though. Had one stuck flat on damn near dry ground, I tried to start a logging business out of my boat and without the ProDrive ry-verse we would have one stuck that nobody else could have pulled out I also had to fix a throttle cable on the fly. No biggie though.

I only have one decent one of Swampbilly temporarily immobilized (he wouldn't say he was stuck) lol the rest of the time I was too busy having fun to mess with taking pics
