 Lake Seminole Poker Run Date Announced! Saturday, August 1st at Lake Seminole GA
Mark your calendars folks. This is the date of this years poker run. Last year we had 45 boats and around 120 folks. This promises to be an awesome weekend. Details will follow but we normally start around 9 in the morning so plan your time off/lodging arrangements accordingly. Looking forward to seeing everybody again!

Re: Lake Seminole Poker Run Date Announced! They have the motel, the big trailer that sleeps a bunch someone splits every year, and a few little prefab trailer/cabins. There is a new campground called "fins and feathers campground" that is right by sealys- 5 minute truck ride or 10 minute boat ride. I don't know anything about it, I just hear it advertised on the radio. Looks like they have a couple of cabins/lodges they rent out. Trails end is 10-15 minutes by truck and probably 25 or so by boat. Wingates is nearly an hour by truck but only about 10-15 minutes by boat (it's straight across the lake). I'd look into Big Jims first as you can walk to the launch and leave your boat parked there and not have to drive anywhere. If you have a group of 4-6 you might look into that new campground at sealys.
And yes, there have been some minor boating bumps in the past. Sawgrass is 6-8 foot tall with small trails so a tall flag of some sort is a good idea.

What part of the lake are they on?
I'll be coming to the ride if I get a sd by then but I'm not gona putt around with a Lt and watch all you other guys haul ass. Too frustrating for me.

I've been to a couple of runs and there are generally long tails and slower boats there as well.

Re: Lake Seminole Poker Run Date Announced! There is another house right beside ours that has 3 bedrooms I think. And one has bunk beds so there is alot of room for activites.... I will get the # from Jonhathan and send it to you tomorrow. Our house is gonna be full. Me, abby, my son, johnathan, kelly, and there kids. We stayed in the same house during season and they are relly nice and pretty cheap, I think our house friday-sunday is $300 plus they have docks and the one we are renting has a hot tub.
