Re: duck lease or club
yes but atleast it's the azzholes I know. Well think about this while you are getting up earlier to get there,I'll be in bed. When you are going farther I'll still be 10-20 minutes from the launch.
I own land, lease land and also take advantage of public land.

Re: duck lease or club
If you look on Louisiana Sportsman there is a duck lease in Enterprise La. Right in the heart of all of the duck hunting in central and north Louisiana.

Re: duck lease or club
Nothing available this time of the year will be worth a darn. Just my oppinion. Anything that is worth a hoot isn't going to be advertised, and you'd be better off hunting WMA's, public lakes/rivers and the coast. I'm in a couple leases down south and neither of them were advertised. They were both from word of mouth. One I know is good, happen to be really good friends with the previous lease holder of 10 years and the other one, well the verdict is still out on it, but teal wasn't too spectacular. I'd not look for one this year and set your sights on next year. If you look hard enough you'll start coming across the right names and emails. It took me asking, surfing the web and going down to parish engineers office a good bit before I figured it out. I wish it was like finding a deer lease, where you just look up the timber company, knock on a door or school board... Man would that be nice.

Re: duck lease or club
I have a small tract in Delacroix that I can hunt, its a buddies family land (marsh) and have leases down in Pointe a La Hache. I'm still waiting for the right oppurtunity in Delacroix. The peice of land I have access to is small and almost not worth the headache. Plus i'm not the only one who has access to it.
