Trade Florida duck hunt for a duck hunt somewhere else
I like to hunt other areas around the country and meet new people. I'm offering a Florida Duck hunt in trade for a chance to try something new. We get plenty of trophy quality birds down here. Pins, wigeon, BWT, GWT, Red Heads, Black Belly Whistling Ducks, Fouvolous Whistling Ducks, Can's, basicaly we get everything but mallards and geese down here. I have everything you need so it would just be a show up with a gun and hunt. I'm a dog guy so Retrievers are welcome also or we can hunt over mine. If anyone is interested let me know

Re: Trade Florida duck hunt for a duck hunt somewhere else
find a cheap plane ticket ( try alegiant air maybe) and a $70 out of state lisence and i'll cover the rest man!! Come on down. I'm here for atleast 3 more seasons. I never thought of florida as a duck hunting state until i got transfered here 4 years ago.... it's some of the best duck hunting i have seen yet. And i have lived and hunted in all 4 flyways. We get birds down here that you wont see anywhere else not to mention nearly everything is in full color by time they reach us!! Go to the PPR for strait carnage but come to the south for trophy birds to slap on the wall!!

Re: Trade Florida duck hunt for a duck hunt somewhere else
I would love to trade for a hunt down there sometime. We shot alot of geese and at the right time we can shoot mallards out of the fields for about 1 week. Some good water hunting around here. I live 20 min from swan lake the largest designated shallow water lake in north america.
Heres my down side i started a new job and may not be able to get a trade in this year

You'll have to throw in something else to hunt here in paradise.

Re: Trade Florida duck hunt for a duck hunt somewhere else
I live on Lake Okeechobee and we have outstanding waterfowl hunting. I would argue some of the best in the world. I remember going to Arkansas (Stuttgart area) and could not wait to get back to Florida to get back to consistent duck killing. Never really put much thought into trading hunts. We do have alot to offer... Big Bass and Big Snook are always a bonus.

I've got about the same birds, but I'd entertain trading! My grandmother is in satellite beach and I need to go see her; this could be just the excuse I need!

Cool story.
My fellow Florida friends don't seem to read into my sarcasm too well.

No ducks in south Florida. They just fly-by.
