Looking for a place to hunt ( duck or deer ) for the 2013 year Don't have a lot of money to get in a hunting club, was hoping to find something for small fee or work in exchange to hunt private property or a lease. I am 26 years old hard working family man. I work offshore 7 x 7 and would like to find somewhere close to home. I live in Houma, La and do NOT own a boat which makes it hard to hunt the WMA in my area. I am open to suggestions. pitrebrandon1213@yahoo.com |

Maurepas WMA Deer and a few birds, can walk in. Free, not too far from home and you can hunt weekdays. |

Ride up to Ms and come stay at the cabin for a couple days. It's all Backwater slue's off the Pearl River in the Philadelphia Ms Area. |

Marepaus Swamp is nice but hard hunting in swamps. Cat island management area is nice as well. You will see a ton of deer and hog once you figure it out. You buy a 15 dollar pass and it is good for all year. |

Maurpas swamp and surrounding areas might have their deer season cut down to 28 days this year. The topic is being debated at wlf. |
