So after this years ride, did anything happen that would result in next years ride being invite only? this is mainly for the ones who put it together every year. im only askin because i wasnt able to make it this year due to other things i had to take care of and i really want to go next year. im not tryin to start a debate, just a simple question.

We didn't come down and hang out sat night. But thurs and fri both seemed pretty smooth. Lots of drinkin, but I don't think anything got out of hand.

We were having boat trouble this year, and were def hoping next year would be a lil better for us...

The silence is deafening. ....... It you don't hear anything by next summer you can assume you weren't invited.... There is a light at the end of the tunnel though. Post a date and organize a run up at Caddo youself and then you can be assured of an invite....

There's a lot of good people here on MMT we all poke fun and give each other a hard time from time to time but everyone was cool at Caddo nobody got out of hand. Everyone got along and I look forward to next year!

Well I am sorry I didn't make it this year. And I can see where ya coming from Crews. It is kinda the same way airboats are looked at in some places.

I am looking at bringing the airboat up there one year just to ride around.... and see the lake. most likely keep it on the LA side and in the lake area staying away from the WMA on the upper TX side.

well how ever it goes next year had a blast would like to make it agian next year .

What he has typed ... is reallity ... I wurshed that it wasn't that way ... but it is the truff.

Ifin' thay was some kind of mission that we could accomplish that was good fo the enviroement .. i.e. ... picken trash (like thay did at the SparkleBerry run) or somethin' that we could do as a group that would be deemed of good charactor other than just rent a few rooms and buy a few bags of ice .... it mite be different.

I do encourage for all to git over to CaddoLake and enjoy the thangs that remarkable place has to offer at yore earlest conveniace.

Also I wants to add ......... after visitin' with Crews 'bout this topic ..... altho I do fully agree with him 'bout the CaddoFunRun ...... I do not agree with him on the subject of the "Private" thang that will ultimatly put the hurt on someone's feelin's 'cause thay didn't git the invite .... I thank ifin' yous gonna have a "private run" it should be just that ...... A Private Run !!!

LOL. Its a little early now. But I wouldn't mind helping to try to help put something together so everyone could meet up again next year. And trying to make it a good cause. I love the lake and its beauty, and understand where crews is coming from completely. Also understand that he's been putting this thing together for several years now and is just tired of it. I do think that the area we like to play in is small enough that word would travel pretty quick if we filled up a big dumpster full of trash from the lake. And it would squash the notion that we are all annoying and tearing stuff up. I doubt very seriously, from the people I met this year, that anyone would have a problem helping out.

LOL. We have a room reserved at the club but don't know if we'll make it. Depends on if we get our motors back by then or not.

The water is pretty clean. There's plenty of trash on the islands that has washed up in floods...Its there, but I agree with what your saying. It would be tough. Got any better ideas? Just trying to think of something that would make it where people may appreciate us being there, rather than consider us a nuisance.

Other than channel markers or clearing navigational hazards I don't see what you can do. Perhaps have a fishing tournament w/ auction and have the proceeds go to the State Park or a Beautification fund??
