I wanted to wait until I was finished to
Start a thread but I'm close to being finished and wanna put up some photos. I bought the basic hull from Garret Pearce at the end of January and started working on it in the evenings. The hull is a 1850 square chine with a huntdeck. I only ran it once since I got it ant it ran 30-31 with my MB. I will post speeds when I finish it.

If this weather will cooperate I'm gonna try to put the hydro turf in tomorrow or friday. My turf is gray I can't decide what camo pattern to use or if I'm even gonna camo it

Did you prime the surface before you painted with the Duralux, or just clean and paint?

Went over it with a scuffing pad, sprayed it with vinegar and let it sit 30 mins. Washed it with the hose let it dry wiped it down with acetone and rolled on the duralux

I got to put a little time on the water yesterday and the boat handles great also it's solid as a rock. Average speed was 29 with me and the wife
