Waht happens if you need reverse and dont have it and you are sitting in mud.....you aint got the strength to push pole the boat so how do you dig a ditch and ues it to get on plane? I would never buy a motor without neutral and reverse....gd should at least have those options availbale for upgrade.......Robin do you still have that boat? Thats funny shit , I here ya about getting older,I bought a new gatortrax over the summer and my 27 will get me throught this season but , I sometime want to kick it of the back of the boat , been thinking about the 35 godevil cause most of what I do is in the salt and I like the Gav frame but , Reverse would be nice.

Metal frames will give up before aluminum anyday, mark my words, if you run any kind of salt water, metal frames will fail
