Post subject:  Alumacraft MB4500BD Rig

MM Brand-2013 MudBuddy Black Death 4500, BPS Y CrossOver Pipe, 38/47 Gears,Hammer prop, 27" drive. HP 38-40 ??. Boat Brand Alumacraft Rivited 1648 Tall transome 2011, Rear and middle seat, custom built in 12gal tank in bow, Total weight with normal load 940Lbs includes motor, battery, gas, fishing equipment and myself. Speeds 34.7 mph deep water, 35.5 shallow water. Conditions flat calm 3mph current. Comments: Never carry much of a load, hunt and fish by myself. Rig is very lite, boat shipping weight was 320 Lbs. Doesn't do bad for straight line runs and speed isn't to bad, thought it would do better. Boat doesn't turn worth a crap, slides easily. Putting 4700 coils in motor ,now allows me to run motor at WOT with out hitting rev limiter, getting 4470 rpm out of it now. For what it is I'm satisfied. I guess?

Better than I expected. Went to H&H in Houma and picked up my new boat. Then went to ProDrive to meet and talk to Bryan and KP. Great bunch of guys and they know their chit. Got my new ProDrive 1854 TDX center console with a ProDrive 40hp efi with reverse and it is a beast! Ran my two boys, ( 130 lbs each ), My lab, ( 70 lbs ), Me, ( 225 lbs ) and two 45 Yeti coolers on the lake, deep water, slight wind, 31 mph gps @ 4620 rpm. All stock, Brand new, No upgrades and really think to duck hunt, that's all I need. The dang thing powered back out of anything I put it in and will get up and gone quicker than my wife at the dollar store on a 50% off sale! My hats off to them guys on building the best hunt boat I've owned, and I've owned several. Anybody want to fact check my numbers, I live on Lake Seminole and glad to carry you out.
