I picked up this boat from Jason and crew last March. The boat was exactly what I wanted Jason had his stuff together then am Im sure hes even better now with the new shop in all.I would recommend anybody in the market for a new boat give him a call. Now for the good part.

Stock Motor
light boat 28-29mph
hunting load 26-28mph
I was satisfied with my stock #'s but only for a short time

Stock Motor + IM heads,Mikuni Carb,MM exhaust,BPS Roller Rockers
light boat 31-33mph
hunting load 29-32
After the mods my motor really came alive there was a night and day difference.Only prob I had was I couldn't stay off the rev limiter at 4350.

Stock Motor + IM heads,Mikuni Carb, MM exhaust,BPS Roller Rockers+BPS High Rev Coils
light boat 32-34mph
I havent had a chance to load it down yet. This boat is the shit and its exactly how I wanted it.I have 0 complaints about it at all.

All performance parts came from BoatDr. Andy was real easy to work with and I would recommend him if you need some.

All my mods were installed by Preston(BayouBoy) the mans got skills he also fabricated me a new skeg, reverse dog ,and something he calls a meat cleaver? I'll let him explain that one to yall.

Sorry it took so long for the review Jason. You prolly dont even remember this boat.I guess better late than never.

Builders and potential new boat owners like seeing these threads. There needs to be more Uncle-J reviews however it is good to see a review that is not a day after picking it up. You obviously put some hours on it and tested it prior to putting mods on the motor. Those are some good number for the combo you have. Good to hear positive reviews about any sponsor here on MMT.

Congrats on the setup & again impressive numbers.

Are you running a stock wheel and do you have a picture of that modified skeg?

Tenpoint yeah it leaked but Jason warned me about it when I picked it up.When I called him to let him know he said he would fix it but it was easier to get it fixed locally. As far as the grab bar I wasnt to crazy about it first but it grew on me.For the purpose it serves it works just fine except I wish it had the beer holder on the end. Oh and Med no one except maybe a VERRRRRY small percentage of people on here would blame you if you got rid od the "Slow Devil" rig you run!!! :P

That's some pretty impressive light/loaded speeds. Especially the stock speeds! Nice boat.

If you don't mind me asking what's the story on the skeg. Also what is the reverse dog? Thanks

In the 1st pic, that shiny metal thing on the trim is the rev dog. You flip it onto the trim shaft to keep the motor from jumping out of the water like an outboard does. The skeg looks like he had the round bar cut off & had the skeg shaved down a lil so it would run shallower on a hard bottom, but I'm just guessin from the 2nd pic.

Nice rig, but why would the builder let the boat leave the shop with a leaking fuel tank?

Preston sure can build some cool parts. Props to ya.
