Post subject:  Scandy White Boats
I am looking at an 1862 Scandy White boat. The manufacturer was in Blountstown, FL and appears out of business. The boat appears VERY solid but I can not find much information on them. Is anyone familiar with these boats?

There still in business. I have a 1448 they built and it's a solid boat. If u can't get them call Jim bracewell he is in blountstown too, he does really good work. 850-674-5915. Bracewell and sons boats.

I have a 16 foot with tunnel hull and float pods. Got a 60 merc on the back with a jack plate. One hell of a solid boat. Will take a pounding and get up in no time. Does well in rough water also.

I am located in Central PA (Harrisburg area) and typically run the Susquehanna River...Rocky and about a foot deep :D ~!
