if you drop the motor with a jack plate, will the motor hit the transom when it kicks up? there are a lot of options...cutting down transom or adding a hunt deck, but when I was looking to putting my pd on a jack plate to lower it a few inches when in mud, I was going to be hitting transom on the kick up....the only solution I came up with was cutting down transom and adding a mounting plate that was spit down the middle to accomidate trim etc.....but I still dont know if motor would have kicked up and hit jack plate supports when fully lowered...... |
