2009 1848 GTB with gunbox, drivers box, and under deck storage. 2012 36 PD STOCK 12 gal gas tank toward back was half full. Went and started in deep water with me, the wife, and the dog. Had trolling motor on front. A little chop on water. Ran 26.5 mph in deep water and slightly faster in the shallow stuff (didnt have much). With just me in it I ran right at 29.2 mph. Just though i would post this up. First real mud rig. (I have the jon boat/ mud motor thing twice). This is night and day. |

Yes I do. Interesting to see how it handles with a hunting load. Need to get building on a blind. |

Nice rig, did work with you on the transom angle knowing you were going to put a PD on it? Sorry just noticed the hull is a 2009, very clean as it looks almost new. |

Trolling motor bracket, all decks 2" from gunnels, half pipe inside on the sidewalls to run wires and to make sides stronger, elimated split ribs and ran them full legnth to the flat bars with cross beam on top, full floors, nicnac shit. |

A PD performs better than a GTR on a GT hull!? |

Hunting update. Have killed quite a few ducks outta this rig this year. Without this setup I would have never been able to get to the spots without pushing through a ton of mud. I dont know that it runs loaded because there is a 10 mph limit where we have been hunting. I do know i need to re adjust the gas tank to the other side of the boat to level out the boat since the gun box and blind are on the same side. Other wise, best boats combo I have had yet. Only down side it with the PD on the GTB boat i cant trim just high enough to really lift motor all way out of water. Opening morning a few weekend ago. 3 guy limit. |
