1854 excel swf4 hdr37efi
Finally bit the bullet and went with an excel. So far I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of this setup.
2016 1854 excel swf4 .125 upgrade Tall transom 11 gallon fuel tank Rod box Livewell Starboard storage with tray 3' bow rails Spud poles Hunt deck Optifade waterfowl camo boat and motor 3000lb winch
Motor 2016 Mud buddy hdr 37 efi stock
Deep water light ( me 270, 11 gallons of gas, spud poles, onboard charger, all safety equipment, 2 batteries, and livewell full of ice and drinks) 27mph 26 steady.
Deep water (heaviest so far. Me 270, 2 buddies 180, 220, and everything as before in the light load) 23mph 22 steady Havnt seen much shallow water that I could run wide open in yet. I'll post those speeds as soon as I get a chance
Went out riding with a few buddies and I held my own with a gatortrax with a hd 7000. He only had one passenger, I had 2. You could tell he had more low end, but the top end wasn't that much faster than mine. 0630161929.jpg0630161809a.jpg

Interested to see what you get for shallow water speeds. That's a big heavy boat. I'm ordering a 37hdr this week and am wondering what my stripped down 1644 will run with one.

This boat is around 800lbs I think. 22 mph with around 1000lbs extra, it still got on pad easily. I'm guessing yours will run pretty good. I'll try to find a good flat next weekend so I can post the speeds

Nice rig , my son has the 1851 with MB7000 2013 model. His will do mid to upper thirties with a lite load at 4700- 5000 rpm. Great boat for breaking Ice, got a good test this last season.
