Had the extra material so I decided to start putting this together what do yall think?

It's 13'-10" long 36" at the widest on the bottom flares out to about 42" an it's 14" deep to the top of the combing.

Looks good. We build some that were 8 foot long with a flat back for small motor transom. We built em out of wood/glass. The sides on them were flared out to about 45 degrees, its amazing how much stability and buoyancy that added.

What spool gun u running?

Thanks ,yeah I know something like this tends to be a lil loud but it's not much different than a bigger boat just have to watch what your doing when your hunting, also thats really close to the angle that i have on here about 45deg

tack me some 1" pipe all across the top of the square plate and ill head up the bayou to pick it up in a week,dont bother painting,i can handle that.no hurry,ill be offshore till next week. ;)

Was actually planning to maybe wrap the outside corner with some 1-1/4" half pipe and i have some 3/8" pipe that i was gonna wrap around the combing trying to use the materials i have on hand without have to buy any.

ok that'll do,....if you dont mind,weld me some lil' pieces of roundbar,or u can use that 3/8th pipe,like some lil' rails all around so that i will have something to tie the net to that im gonna put around it,to weave some brush and grass in and out of.

It's not too bad on the weight I've got less than a 4'x20'x1/8" sheet of material in it so far it'll
Prob end up 150lbs r so as far as a motor ill setup the transom for it but not sure if I'll keep it or sell it

looking 2 build me one about 17' with enough room for 2 people dog and gear. but rake the front up for taking on bigger water and 18" cockpit height.

i been looking at the bobcat pirogues but rather one in alum in this style

how stable would it be for a 270lbs guy
