I can't stop looking at this rig....it's so sweet!! What does something like this run for price???

So after running this boat for a while stock, I decided it was time to upgrade a bit to push this barge of a boat I have (Please see original post for boat specs). I brought the boat to Jamie B. and he put his "Stage 1" voodoo on it, and I am more than impressed with the results. Keep in mind I've only run this boat with these new mods for about 10 minutes, so I'm sure there's a bit more to be desired. Speeds were taken with Navionics GPS app on my iPhone.

Previous speeds were +/- 28 MPH at best light load - me (185 lbs), 6 gallons of gas, and a prop that's worn a bit.
New Speeds: 32.0-32.7 MPH
It bumped 33.1-33.5 a couple times also, but those were not constant.

This was between 4550-4580 RPM, and everytime I tried to go over that the boat would porpoise too bad so I had to lay off, so there's still more motor to get out of this thing. I also just ran it in Bayou Boeuf, which has a constant current and the wind speeds were probably in the 5 mph range. I found so far that the best cruise speed is about 30.8-31.2 MPH at 4480-4500 rpm.

Can't wait to see what it does this weekend with a bit of a load. Thanks again Jamie!!

This is money well spent. That is just about the perfect boat. I would not change a thing and if I were in the market I would want the exact same rig.

This is a very nice boat, ask Cajun Outlaw how nice it was being taxied in this boat for the Wax Lake shoot out. I enjoyed sitting in the lounge chairs riding around.lol

Bayouboy skeg. I'll see how it does this weekend in the veggies. I'll say one thing, BB cuts this thing out to the gnats ass because that little bit of paint I put on it caused me to have to beat it in place. But I'm glad I painted it to match, really like how it came out...

CJB what is the block of wood for? And i see you got a skeg from bayouboy you should get the cav plate an weed cutter from him also to complete the set.

I put the block of wood under the trim ram and trim all the way up to it when trailering. It takes the slack out and doesn't bounce as bad when going down the road.

Looking at this boat again today. That it top notch design and craftsmanship. That is a lifetime boat.

I still think thats the best looking boat I've ever seen. Sounds like its running great too.
