Depending on your situation, use, wants and needs it is a sold and reliable motor. No frills but gets you from A to B.

Don't listen to close to all the fanboys on this site.

Do an honest self assessment of what you want and need and try them all before you buy!

Get one.. Ive had mine for 4 years and no problems.. It pushes me 29 in a 18x44 gd boat. 26-27 with a 2 man hunting load..

Its a rock solid dependable motor with no nuetral and no reverse. Honest opinion:........If you are a duck hunter its a solid motor. I owned mine for 3 years now and its been extremely dependable and got me where I needed to go. Didn't opt for reverse and in my situation it would have helped only for backing up from the boat ramp. May be different for you. Having reverse is nice but it does add something to maintain or fix. You will hear others debate this but its up to you to decipher. All 4 major brands are good motors. This is fact. I modded mine and it really woke the motor up. I would take a test drive first. If you're in my area we can drop mine on and see how you like it.

Fixed that in the field huh? Pretty good right there, please refer to the props and lower unit section for the gtr trim fix, just be at home, cause you'll need a phone, brown truck, and some money. 8-)

You've run plenty of that stuff ha!! Man what's makes your boat different than these!! Every time I seen a gd in this shit it's been the same out come.
