 17x54 vs 18x54 Gator-Tail extreme I'm new to this site and new to surface drive mud motors.
I am stuck between the 17x54 and 18x54 and would like you get input for yall.
I will be using this boat for everything from fishing reds in saltwater marsh to duck hunting in the atchafalaya basin. The motor will be a 35GTR with the stage one kit for gator-tail. I want the best all around boat, will the one foot hurt me in anyway?

You can't go wrong with either.

Re: 17x54 vs 18x54 Gator-Tail extreme Just me I get high 20s bump 30. My boat is empty just catwalks extended deck and hunt deck. I will do mods down the road but my stock gtr runs faster/as fast as my modded mudbuddy and 1854 excel
