Have a 15 42 war eagle with the 25 GTR. Boat has gun box and floor. Ran 26 27 with me and hunting gear in deep water with some chop. Havnt got to run it much only speeds I have for now. Love the motor. |

Ran 23 with 4 dozen decoys plus all gear full tank gas. Me (230) and buddy (220) plus lab (83). Deep water. Got on plan with 3 guys plus lab and all gear no problem but didn't get any speeds. Been really impressed with motor. Few pics |

I will let you know, 1840 is the size im looking at but all .125.....i should have the motor in a couple of weeks and will be ordering a boat in the next week or so........I wasnt real sure about going from the 36 pd to a 25 but those numbers make me feel real comfortable about it. |

Yeah, my plan was a new rig in spring, but hours got cut WAY back at work so Im trying to reduce costs. The 25 has had my attention and may be a good money saver so I can go new and still have warranty and such. This review has gotten my attention on the 25 again. |

Actually GPS speed me and my buddy. Buddy is driving he's 325 I'm 230 full tank and battery both back still. Plus gun box full of tools and other crap. Running 3600 3700 rpms. Ran it solo again getting 26 forgot to take pic. |

Great speed. GTR is a great motor. The 25 is good move. How is the motor on idle. How low can you idle (rpm's). Does it shut off from WOT to idle ? |

Gotta run it higher than most to keep it from shutting off. Running around 1100 to 1200 rpms seems the best. Thats prop in water. I'm running around 850 900 rpms right now and it will shut off sometimes if you go from idle to wide open. |

Is that a short transom? I was seriously thinking about the 25 for my 1648 but I will go with the 35 because I will get a bigger hull eventually. But the 25 is pretty impressive! |

how low does it set in the water with your buddy that's 325 lb when the boat sitting still. I see yoy move the gas tank does that help got same boat just ordered a GTR 25 should be here 4 weeks. |
