Boat Layout: open, pods in back corners, gas tank and 1 battery in front. TM mounted on front too

Speeds | Shallow Water: couldn't find the skinny with out stumps to open it up

Speeds | Deep Water: 24 down river and steady 23.5 up

Total Boat Load With Gear Etc: me (200) on a good day, dog (100) on bad day, full 6 gal gas tank, 2 batteries, 1 tm, push pole, a 8 beers.

Conditions Tested In: On river in deep water, nice head wind, could have gone 40+ with out that, river was pretty choppy.

Comments: I know it would run better on a mud boat, but i have to wait on that, boat will get me through duck season, normally only on hunt with 2 guys, hopefully will work out alright, pretty disappointed really. Motor now has 11 hours on it, installed the old style BPS exhaust few weeks back, and new spark plugs before i hit the water.

not going to complain too much got the boat pretty much free in a trade for my old express with a 50 horse on the back, over all nothing like driving a mud motor even if it is on the wrong boat.

Hope this helps people decide on not to put a mud motor on a hull not designed for it

Thanks for the honest report, I think too many people are too proud to get on here and say they are not completely happy with what they bought. If you don't already have the big blade prop, you will want to get it. It may help a little with speed, but it definately helps with load carrying.
